Answered Prayers

I had my 36 week check up yesterday & it went perfectly!! Baby has been breech for the last couple months so they were going to schedule me for an ECV to try & turn her manually. Which sometimes works but also has some serious risks & I could end up having an emergency c-section. I have been praying that she would turn herself & save us both the stress of the ECV procedure. God is Good!! All is as it should be. Baby is head down & I've started to dilate! This pregnancy has been so different from the others, which were fairly uneventful & a lot easier. I think my body is getting too old for this. LOL! I am trying to enjoy the last couple weeks of my pregnancy since it will likely be my last. I almost can't believe its so close to being over. I remember thinking January 2010 felt like forever away when we found out we were pregnant in May but here we are about to meet our precious baby in just a couple weeks! I praise the Lord for this amazing gift of life! I pray for a safe delivery & a healthy baby.
I have so much to share I just haven't had time to take the photos yet. But here is a card I made for a friends B-Day using some of my favorite retired stamps, dp, & in colors.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Time Flies!

Oh my I can't believe it's almost fall! The end of year always passes even faster than the beginning for me. With all my girls birthdays, Thanksgiving, & Christmas. Before I know it January will be here & I will be delivering our newest addition! Anyway I finally have started stamping in a limited capacity but at least I don't feel like my brain oozes out of my ears every time I try to think of something to create. LOL! This card uses a full sheet of cardstock so it measures 8 1/2x 5 1/2. This is the first time I have made a card this size & I think it came out pretty good! Thanks for stopping by today.

3-D Ultrasound

Here's one of the first pictures of our new baby girl. This is the coolest technology!! It always makes me feel closer to my baby after I get to see them. I usually wait till I am about 8 months along to get the 3-d but I was so anxious to find out if it was a boy or girl I had it done at 16 weeks which was the soonest they could tell.
My oldest is doing better. She isn't getting around much but the pain has reduced some. She will hopefully return to school next week. Her birthday is also coming up next week! I can beleive she will be 15!! OMGosh I am getting so old!!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Whats going on...

My oldest had to have surgery on both knees yesterday. It has been a rough 24 hours but hopefully we can get the pain under control so she can rest comfortably. I am totally exhausted from being at the hospital all day yesterday then up & down with her all night. Anyway just wanted to take a second to give you all a quick update on whats been going on with me & also let you know we found out we are having a baby girl!

Razzleberry is Yummy!!

I wasn't sure about the In Colors this time around but so far I have been pleasantly surprised how nicely they blend with our traditional colors. This card features Razzleberry, Olive, & Pale Plum. This was the first card I came up with for the stamp-a-stack. It was so difficult to get it done. I kept adding & taking away & moving & turning & changing...Yikes!! You would have thought I was new to this stamping thing. LOL!! But with lots of prayer & effort I came up with this. Not too bad, right?
Thanks for stopping by I wish you all a wonderfully blessed day!

Finally stampin again...

Its sad to say but I have had $200+ in brand new stampin gear sitting here in boxes for over 2 months. Since I have been sick from the pregnancy even thinking about stamping would make me feel horrible. So weird!! Anyway I have been feeling better lately so I hope that phase is over. Getting back in the swing of things was way more difficult than I thought it would be. I needed to create 5 cards for an upcoming stamp-a-stack & it took me way longer then it should of. I was really doubting my creative abilities. I am still not back to normal but at least I got the 5 cards done & I think they came out ok.
On another note it was fun to see this month's Stampin Success & my winning entry. I am really looking forward to seeing my other card in the next issue of Paper Crafts! I really loved that card & can't wait to see it again!!
Hopefully life will finally return to normal & I can go back to stamping & updating my blog more often. So until next time....
Smiles & Blessings,
Mercedes

Sooo you can check out my cards in the August issue of Stampin Success & the November/December issue of Paper Crafts!

I just finished the last of the 10 project samples for my fundraiser event this saturday. This card is my favorite. I LOVE the Blossoms Abound set! So sad that it's retired. But since its one of the sets available in the auction prize baskets I thought it would a great chance to use it. The sentiment is from Happy Harmony which is also retired but available in the auction.

For Mother's Day

Thought this would be a good time to start some mother's day cards. I wanted to use a sentiment besides Happy Mother's Day so I thought I would look through my stash of rub-ons. I already confessed I was a "collector" aka hoarder so using these twice in a week is pretty good for me! Thanks so much for stopping by & may God bless you with a beautiful day!

Sleep or Stamp?

Hmmm....ummm...STAMP! Yes its 2 am. I really didn't plan to stay up this late but I fell alseep while watching Bolt with my little one then got up awhile later to turn off the computer & figured I would just take a peek at the sketch challenge on SCS really quick.....well you know how that goes. Your brain starts telling your hands to break out the stamps & its all down hill from there. LOL! Ok now really I gotta go to bed. Good Night or Morning!

Life Happened

Oh my gosh what a crazy couple of weeks! I didn't fall of the face of the virtual earth I have just been engulfed in the busyness called the real world. LOL! But anyway I am back...Did ya miss me?

I wanted to share a card that I made today inspired by the fabulous spring weather we have had for the past couple of days. I love the warm weather & I hope it sticks around for awhile. Oh yeah the card.... I saw the cutest idea by Jan Tink while blog hopping this morning. She used the scallop edge & paper crimper to make a ruffled border so I had to give it a try! I decided to make mine a flower. I even used some of those sale-a-bration rub ons I have been hording for 2 years...Yikes! I kept it simple since I really wanted the flower to take center stage. Well life is calling again (actually its my 3 & 4 year old) so I gotta run. Have a Great day!

Bunny & Basket Card

I have had this little guy sitting on my desk for a few days but my camera has been MIA. Its been killing me not being able to update my blog but thats what I get for having my stamp room looking like a bomb went off in here. Yikes! So I figured I better call in a search party to find my camera & burried under 3 feet of paper there it was. LOL!
Thanks for stopping by today!
